your house in the first place might be enough to point your nose in the right

- Just keep in mind when you're walking around the house where the closest
object is that you could possible use as a self defense device. For example: If
you are always thinking about where the box of knives or similar self defense
devices are located in your house, it'll be tough to be caught off guard by
anyone. I don't recommended sleeping with a knife under your pillow however, as
I just have to sleep with my hands tucked up under the pillow, can't get enough
of that fetal position. So simply remembering where defense mechanisms are in

- Learn the proper way to defend yourself with a pair of keys. Self defense
doesn't need to be a battle fought with fists, you can take advantage of the
situation by learning how to defend yourself for free simply by scaring the
